Hi! I’m Mathilde, a 30-something bookworm living in Neuchâtel, Switzerland. I’ve been devouring books since I was a child. After completing two degrees in English literature and education, I was tired of reading texts that were imposed to me and was craving to go back to recreational reading. For a few years I let myself read whatever piqued my interest and discover new genres. My passion for books grew even more and with it the need to connect with other readers. In 2024 I founded an English Book Club in Neuchâtel, met amazing women and made new friends. But I didn’t want to stop there. I wanted my passion to be more than a hobby. I thus decided to combine my love for books, for the mountains and for all things cozy to create reading retreats where book lovers can connect while relaxing and enjoying nature.
